Undergraduate Advising
- Advising questions that do not require a full meeting can be sent to econBA@northwestern.edu.
- You do not need to make an appointment to petition to graduate. Please follow the directions here.
- You do need to make an appointment to declare the Economics major or minor (forms linked here).
- Please email the advisor any forms they need to sign prior to your meeting, including the major and minor forms.
- Please see Professor Witte for information regarding honors, the BA/MA program, study abroad, transfer credit, as well as general Economics advising.
- Each advising appointment is 10 minutes. We encourage you to book back-to-back appointments for more time.
- First-year students seeking advising should contact the Department's advisor for first-year students, Professor James Hornsten. You can also visit the First Year Students section of the website.
