Frequently Asked Questions

What age group does CPS FLO target?

We primarily work with high school juniors and seniors, but our materials are suitable for freshmen and sophomores as well.

How is each session structured?

Each session is conducted during a pre-arranged time with each of our partner schools, following our weekly or bi-monthly schedule. Most of each session will be instruction with activities and games interspersed throughout.

Do your lessons take place in-person or remotely?

We were founded as a virtual program but are now offering an in-person format! Please indicate your preference (virtual or in-person) on the registration form. The in-person option is contingent upon available funding for transportation and student availability! But, don't worry – in the event things don't work out as planned, we will still be able to serve your students through engaging, live Zoom sessions.

Is it a possibility to host these sessions after-school?

Yes! Please reach out to us to discuss further.

Is there homework involved?

No! Students learn and reinforce concepts all in one session.

We are willing to move around class meeting times to increase the chances of instructors being able to come in-person. Are there preferred times?

For in-person sessions, our instructors will have the greatest availability in the early morning (1st or 2nd period).
