2023 NET Recap

NET held its sixth annual tournament from April 1-2, 2023, hosting over 120 high school students from six countries, both in-person and virtually. Teams tackled a challenging exam in the Power Round and sparred against each other in the nail-biting Econ Bowl. They demonstrated an impressive wealth of economics knowledge, from current events to complex game theory concepts. Additionally, Professors Mark Witte, Robert Gordon, and Scott Ogawa presented a series of engaging lectures in their respective research fields, providing participants with a taste of Northwestern economics. After the competition’s conclusion, students engaged in games to experience economic concepts in play.

Thank you to everyone who participated and congratulations to the champions!
