The Posner Research Program gives rising Weinberg College sophomores the opportunity to engage in research projects under the guidance of Northwestern faculty members during the summer after their first year.

We kicked off our 2021-2022 alumni programming with a virtual Conversations with the Department of Economics event, hosted by economics alumnus Jamie Doyle ’92. Department Chair Joseph Ferrie shed light on the department's diversity initiatives, introduced new faculty members and discussed current research being conducted in the department. Director of Undergraduate Studies Mark Witte provided updates on undergraduate education and current economics student Campbell Schafer '22, provided a spotlight on the undergraduate experience.
